Two Midway weddings in one month, I love it! Josh and Cassie got married on the flight deck with an amazing view of San Diego in the background. After a hour up to for cocktails and appetizers it was down to the hanger bay to continue the celebration. The newlyweds kicked the evening off with a first dance to “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton.
Elizabeth Giles with Maximum Capacity Events was our coordinator for the night and Meaghann Harbison with the Midway handled the ship details. Chef William and the team at Behind the Scenes Catering did an amazing job with the food. I also had the pleasure of working with Shane from Motzi Photography, Doug at Mneme Productions and Patricia Coleman was the officiant. Entertainment at Large provided the lighting.
One of my favorite moments of the night, Cassie had such a good arm the bouquet ended up wedged in the ceiling, quite a feat! No worries, we put together another bouquet and did it again.
It was a great dance crowd and Josh and Cassie were right in the middle of it most of the night. Some of the hits were – Moves Like Jaegar, Maron 5 – You Make Me Feel, Colbert Starship and PYT, Michael Jackson…it was a great celebration!
Hi Mike – It was great to work with you at Cassie and Josh’s wedding last week.  You were a really great MC, which is all too often a rare quality to find in a good DJ!  Cassie and Josh had such a wonderful time, as did all the wedding guests, thanks in large part to your ability to choose the right tunes for every moment, and your outgoing demeanor behind the mic.  Thank you for making it so easy for me and all the guests to enjoy themselves.  The lighting was well placed and worked perfectly in the space – I hope to work with you again sometime!
