David and Brittanny Lapkin held their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Coronado Community Center where the guests were treated to a breath taking view of the water and sunset. As the guests entered they passed the “Love” ice sculpture on the patio which was the start to all the love that would come out of the evening.
The couple walked down the aisle to “Marry Me” by Train as Brittanny in her flawless strapless floor length white dress captured David and the guests hearts. The newlyweds had their first dance to “Luna” by Smashing Pumpkins before an amazing dinner by Artquest Catering. After dinner, the couple started dancing with a traditional hora that got everyone excited and the bride and groom went up on chairs.

Here are a few of the crowd favorites that kept the floor full,  “On the Floor” by Jennifer Lopez ft Pitbull, “Jump” by House of Pain. and “You give Love a Bad Name” by Bon Jovi. The night continues with a late night snack of mini donuts from Sensational Treats, they were a huge hit and helped promote the fun atmosphere that would last all night long.
It was such a fun night!
This was a great wedding of family and friends that was creatively coordinated by Courtney Tibbets from After the Engagement. The vibrant floral decorations provided by Diane Lopez with Exquisite Designs captured the simple yet elegant tone of the event. Kate Williams with Chasing Daylight Photography captured the event with an intimacy that allowed you to feel like you were celebrating with the new couple.

I had the pleasure of working Brittanny’s sister Candice’s wedding last year and I am blessed they invited me to work with this great family again!
